First task force meeting.

Task force charges:

1. Develop an implementation plan for bylaws changes approved by 2004 House of Delegates to be effective at the end of the 2006 House of Delegates.

2. Have implementation plan completed by February 28, 2005, for inclusion in the 2005 Delegate Handbook and present the plan to the 2005 House of Delegates.

3. Submit any bylaws implications to the Committee on Bylaws for consideration for presentation to the House of Delegates.

The 2005 House of Delegates meets with 234 eligible delegate positions. 2005 House of Delegates votes on Resolutions to allow proposed implementation plan to proceed.

The implementation plan timeline proposed by the Task Force on Bylaws Implementation Plan calls for the following:

·1 Nominations will be accepted from candidates for two (2) national chapter delegates and two (2) Military delegates from the Air Force.

·2 Air Force delegate receiving the highest number of votes will serve a two- (2-) year term.

The Air Force delegate receiving the second highest number of votes will serve a one- (1-) year term.

The implementation plan timeline proposed by the Task Force on Bylaws Implementation Plan calls for the following:

·3 Nominations will be accepted from candidates for two (2) national chapter delegates and two (2) Military delegates from the Army and Navy and one (1) delegate from the Air Force.(This permits chapter delegates elected in 2005 to finish their terms.)

·4 Army and Navy delegates receiving the highest number of votes will serve a two- (2-) year term.

·5 The Army and Navy delegates receiving the second highest number of votes will serve a one- (1-) year term.

·6 Candidates for vice president must meet new bylaw qualifications.

The 2007 House of Delegates is one of transition. Regional chapter and military chapter delegates elected in 2005 will complete their terms. National chapter delegates and military delegates elected in 2006 will be seated. There are 201 eligible delegate positions.
